The service

Orb is a hosted pub/sub bus at orbnet.app. This spike uses api.dev.orbnet.app and gw.dev.orbnet.app. Software is closed source until there is a product. No public pricing.

Acceptable use

• No unsolicited bulk email or using Orb to spam.
• No malware, CSAM, or content we are required to freeze or report.
• Publish keys are secrets. Topic IDs are not passwords.

Clients

macOS builds are unsigned. You install at your own risk (Gatekeeper → Open Anyway). Apple silicon only for the current GitHub Actions runner.

Mail

We send transactional magic links from noreply@orbnet.app only when you ask. We may refuse or delay mail while the AWS SES account is in the sandbox.
